This policy covers the Beforely app for Shopify, the Beforely plugin for WordPress and this website. Beforely is made by App Holdings ("we", "us"). Contact: feedback@appholdings.org.

Your store's visitors

The slider runs in your visitors' browsers. It doesn't collect, store or send any information about them, doesn't set cookies and doesn't load anything from our servers. On Shopify the slider's files are served by Shopify. In WordPress they are served by your own site.

Shopify app

When a merchant installs the Shopify app, we store:

• the store's myshopify.com address, the store name and Shopify's ID numbers for the store and the app installation;
• a Shopify access token for the store, encrypted;
• whether the store is on the Free or Premium plan, and the dates this record was created and changed.

We use this only to show the app's settings page and to switch Premium features on or off in your theme. The app asks for no access scopes to your products, orders or customers, and we never receive or store information about your customers. Payments for Premium are handled by Shopify; we don't see card details.

The app's backend runs on Cloudflare Workers, and the record above is kept in Cloudflare's storage. Cloudflare processes it on our behalf as our hosting provider.

When you uninstall the app, we delete the record for your store. When Shopify sends us a shop data erasure request (shop/redact), we delete anything left for that store. Shopify's customer data requests (customers/data_request and customers/redact) are answered with nothing to return or delete, because we hold no customer data.

WordPress plugin

The plugin makes no external requests and sends nothing to us or anyone else. Its settings are saved inside your own posts in your own WordPress database.

This website

This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no tracking. Like any website, our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes visitors' IP addresses to deliver and protect the site.

Email

If you email us, we keep your message and address to answer you and to help with later questions about the same issue.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you or your store, or ask us to delete it, at feedback@appholdings.org. We answer within 30 days.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
